The 18th International Plant Protection Congress will be held in Berlin, Germany, August 24-27, 2015. In this congress, there will be a workshop on “Management of the South American Tomato Leafminer, Tuta absoluta” on August 25, 2015 starting at 7.30 pm and lasting three hours.
This workshop will review the biology, spread, damage, monitoring and the control tactics including regulatory, physical, cultural, chemical and biological methods. There will be a discussion on current Tuta absoluta projects worldwide and the possible initiation of national, regional and global projects for the management of T. absoluta and the current and potential role of donor agencies.

We are happy to inform you that about 1,000 abstracts have successfully been submitted for the XVIII. International Plant Protection Congress (IPPC) 2015. Despite this great interest and due to numerous requests for an extension, we are pleased to prolong the abstract deadline to 8 February, 2015 (23:55 hrs, GMT +1).
Please click here to submit your abstract online.
Please note that no adaption of your abstract is possible after the abstract deadline has expired.
All abstract authors will be notified about their type of presentation after the reviewing process has been finished; approximately by the end of April.
Please note that in case your abstract has neither been accepted as oral or poster presentation and therefore you are not able to attend the conference, we will fully reimburse your registration fee.

We would like to hereby kindly remind you that abstract submission is possible in English and online until 1 February, 2015. Please click here to submit your abstract online.
